1/ Kentucky law is clear: Under KRS 446.400, brain death = legal death ONLY if there’s total and irreversible cessation of ALL brain function, including the brain stem, confirmed by TWO licensed physicians.
If there’s any brain activity or spontaneous breathing, it doesn’t meet the standard. Period.
No hiding behind ventilators.
2/ Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized for weeks. His office says he’s “improving” and working with staff.
