Los Angeles, California landfill is heating up and releasing gases to toxic it’s giving the residents nearby cancer

It’s so bad even Bloomberg is reporting it and showing California is ignoring Federal Regulations

Yet somehow, still, Gavin Newsom isn’t held accountable

“In the northwest corner of Los Angeles county, one of America's largest landfills has been overheating to dangerous levels, and the neighbors are getting sick.

There have been reports of headaches, nausea, and a cluster of new cancer cases.

In 2022, buried pockets of waste at Chiquita Canyon landfill started climbing to broiling temperatures well above safety standards, according to a state assessment. Since then, officials say the hot temperatures have consumed about 90 acres of the landfill, spewing out strong odors and harmful gases, including benzene and carbo monoxide.

Residents say they're having heart problems, nosebleeds, hand tremors and even cancer.

California regulators suspect that Chiquita Canyon is smoldering below the surface due to the operator letting too much oxygen into the landfill. It's a problem that's known to start fires going against federal regulations”
