This is what happens when “the product” is a mass of sentient beings… and when sycophants and stans mistake financial luck for IQ, EQ, and values boosting the narcissistic overconfidence. Bad decisions get doubled down on until the house collapses.
@JoJoFromJerz My 3-year old tells us all this one ~8 times per day and I laugh every time - "Why did the banana go to the hospital?... Because it wasn't PEELING well."
@cybergibbons pull the same thread until someone complains that they can see someone's insulin pump... You'll quickly end up with a mono-culture built upon sameness as a core value, lack of innovation and overall value to society (and shareholders)... oh, wait...
@cybergibbons Somehow, people have convinced themselves that its different than "someone complained that your t-shirt is too tight against your belly, what are you going to do about that" or "someone complained that the scar on your arm is gross - what are you going to do to hide that better"
"You never know, if someone of driving by, could it be that person. Or going out for a walk. It is a little terrifying," says a Stockton resident, adding that she's even afraid to put the garbage out. https://t.co/IBJLw1biu1
These will, unfortunately (without strong regulation, real penalties, discover and oversight requirements) become another mass #surveillance tool. Companies will get permission to litter neighborhoods in exchange for access to information they collect (images, sounds, signals)
@TaylorLGrothe First at 35, first sleeve at 47. I believe lots of stigma (ignorance) for those growing up ~70's-90's. For those that waited until they knew it was something they wanted "for the rest of their life" - the ability to see other reasons opens up... for the rest - still closed off.
