OpenAI Nerfed GPT-6 Astra

- I used it yesterday, and it feels dumber now. Its making mistakes on tasks it handled well before.
- Previously, Extra high effort took much longer to complete a task. Now it finishes noticeably faster, but the quality has dropped.
- It feels around 30-40% faster, which makes me think they reduced the juice value.
- The realism has also dropped compared to before.
- We saw something similar with GPT-5.6 Sol. OpenAI also stopped the $200 Pro plan for new users because of compute issues.
- Astra became a huge success, but nerfing it this quickly is not good.

Launch-day Astra looked genuinely photorealistic.

Today’s result looks flatter, more synthetic, and noticeably less convincing.

THE PHOTOREALISM IS GONE.

I can’t prove it was nerfed, but the difference is hard to ignore.

GPT-5.6 Sol has been acting noticeably worse lately too.
