Zohran Mamdani is being sued by a group representing immigrant-owned grocers in New York City over the mayor's plan to open 5 city-run grocery stores throughout NYC.

The group says small businesses will be forced to compete against stores funded by their own tax dollars who aren't competing on a level playing field.

One East Harlem grocer says a planned city-run store directly across the street could put his family's 25-year-old business under.

99% certainty this goes unreported and doesn’t end up in the crime stats, like a huge proportion of street crime in this city.

People now understand the police are mostly powerless to do anything in these situations and there’s no real point in making reports.

And that’s how progressives have engineered artificial crime stats though de-policing the city and demoralizing the population.
