out of the 6 people in the RRC, 3 incumbents (1 up for reelection) and 3 current challenging candidates, there is only ONE who does not have financial ties or investments in the Oil & Gas industry. He has been fighting for the mineral rights of landowners and to expose the Chinese horizontal wells drilled way below the surface, where farmers and landowners have no clue they are under their land, and the Chinese are mining the lithium and other minerals out of the water. Wells, under Texas land, that China OWN. He's making sure those folks know about it and get their mineral rights paid to them.
It stands to reason, also, that if he does not have financial ties/investments in the Oil & Gas sector, he will fight for Texas best interests FIRST, and not his own ROI and back pocket. He's testified on the water well situation in East Texas. He sounded the alarm on the SmackOver Formation that runs from Arkansas into East Texas, that China OWNS. That got to Gov Sanders in Arkansas and started the process of her booting China totally out of Arkansas. That man is @matlockfortexas , former Marine, 18 years in Oil & Gas, has already written a resolution about the AI Data Centers drain on our Water and Power grid, which the SREC has adopted. That is who we need in the RRC.

Nobody’s mad about mineral rights. This is Texas, we practically put them in wedding vows.

If you want to regulate oil and gas and you personally benefit from oil and gas policy, folks are going to ask questions. Especially with the data centers they want to build.
That’s basic conflict of interest.

And he’s mighty cozy with Bo French the king of calling everyone gay.

"Mr. President,

I am impressed with many of your actions during your second term in office. They have worked to fulfill the hopes many of us had when we cast our ballot for you.

I am less than impressed by your decision to endorse and support Greg Abbott for a fourth term as Governor of Texas. We have a Swamp in Austin as deep and nasty as any you've encountered in DC and Greg Abbott is deep in the heart of it.

We love having you come to Texas but your planned trip on this Friday is not for a good purpose. Texans are done with Abbott's smoke and mirrors policies, with promises of great deeds always left undone. You are, of course, always welcome but a better use of your time in Texas would be to speak with Pete "Doc" Chambers. I believe you will find him to be a better leader for Texas and more capable of carrying out your shared goals."
