From 1640 outstanding entries, tomorrow at 2pm we announce our 2023 shortlist! These 30 LL writers have gone through 4 rounds of reading plus have been read by our judges. All our LL writers are so talented and such a lovely bunch of writers. Markings were indistinct though his beak was very yellow. Cyclist saw him by the side of the road and then blown into our hedge by a tractor. Came back to look for him - a good person.
