Great presentation from the Combined Honours team @UniofNewcastle - alumni reflections from Megan show that consistent/persistent comms from us are so important to reach all students, greatly put by @LydiaHalls as the ‘gentle nudges’! @RAISEnetwork#RAISE2022
Ruth and Laura from tell us about their SE initiates at Newcastle and how they are embedding inclusive principles within them! I love how their inclusive practice document will be changed for each year of cohort to reflect changing student needs #RAISE19
Really interesting stuff! We equate being inclusive with being a good person say the @uniofnewcastle team. It's then really difficult to accept that you are not quite as inclusive as you might like to think, so how on earth do you evaluate that? #RAISE19
Parallel 2.1 & I am currently perched on an exam chair w/ table in one corner of a VERY PACKED room...
@RuthFurlonger & Laura Callaghan (from @CombinedNCL@UniofNewcastle) starts the session off with a discussion on inclusive practice in peer-led schemes.
