On August 27, President Xi Jinping replied to scholars from 50 African countries, encouraging them to continue to provide intellectual support for building a high-level China-#Africa community with a shared future and safeguarding the common interests of the "#GlobalSouth".

From September 4 to 6, the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (#FOCAC) is held in Beijing. Ismael Buchanan @AbouiIsmael, the chief executive officer and founder of the Rwanda Institute of International Affairs @Rwanda_RIIA, who participated in sending the joint letter, expressed his expectations for the summit to us.

He also mentioned that "#Guangdong has recently hosted many international events, which have gradually promoted the province to become a showcase for China's development, and China is also sending out its voice from Guangdong."
