I've been trying to work out a durable definition of "racist" for some time, as the word is bandied about so much that it's lost all apparent meaning. To me it always meant hatred, but I knew that wasn't how leftists meant it. But I think I've got it now.
If I say something demonstrably correct with zero animus, I wouldn't deem it racist. But it becomes racist if it causes the listener to experience negative emotion.
That's it, that's the entire definition. "Anything having to do with race that makes somebody uncomfortable." This is why a black person can say the same thing as me and not be racist while I am.
@Babygravy9 It’s like when I was at Windsor Castle admiring thousands of years of wealth history and grandeur and I hear the woman in front of me remark “they could feed so many people with this stuff 😡”
Substack should have a vending-machine-like mechanism. Punch your card in once and buy 50 tokens for $25. If an author chooses to paywall, you can use a token to read it. I’m not subscribing for $5 or $9 to every dillhole who manages to write 5 paragraphs on a subject I’m mildly interested in. I pay $20 a month to the WSJ and they employ hundreds of people. $9 to read your Substack? No shot
Historian Bill Federer: "By 2030, there will be a majority Muslim population in Europe, and they'll just flat out vote in Sharia law."
"People forget Egypt was completely Christian for six centuries. It's not anymore. All of North Africa was completely Christian for six centuries. It's not anymore."
"Constantinople was the largest Christian city in the world, and the largest Christian church in the world for hundreds of years was the Hagia Sophia. And it got turned into a mosque."
"They want to do the same thing with the Vatican."
“The only way we are going to stop the islamification of Texas and America is not just by banning sharia law, not just by banning the call to prayer, not just by banning halal slaughter, which are all things I have called for, but more importantly, we have to send them all home.”
At the time of sale Delta gets an account receivable asset and an unearned revenue liability on the balance sheet. No impact on income statement or cash flow statement
When they get the cash it just switches one asset for another on the balance sheet, and obviously you see it on the CFS
Then Delta recognizes the revenue when it is earned and it finally hits the income statement in Q3
