AOC have been working with locals from Innerleithen Community Trust to record the surviving remains of the mill lade which was once integral to many businesses in the town including several wool mills. Using techniques such as photogrammetry, measured survey and drone photography the group have created a detailed record of the lade, preserving it for future generations!
Part of the @DestTweedUK project made possible by funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund Scotland, Fallago Environment Fund and other funders.
