After the verdict I wanted to wait; to digest this moment; to better appreciate it for what it is, what it isn't, and what it means for all of us going forward. I sorted through the gloating and the threats, the whining and the half-baked assumptions; but most importantly, out of all of that, I found comfort in this truth: No one is above the law--affirmed by 12 citizens.

Cassie’s physical wounds may have healed, but the mental & emotional trauma suffered at the hands of Sean Combs left irreparable damage. She lived through his abuse, & was ridiculed once she built the courage to speak up! I can’t imagine the torment & torture she’s endured.
Simply put, Sean Combs is a b*tch. The men around him are b*tches too. He deserves no grace for this, no understanding. There are no longer any ifs. He’s a “f*cking monster”, & he deserves any and every consequence that comes from these horrific actions. No post assault video release, long distance apology changes that!

In your early 20s? You might not know that the Affordable Care Act is the reason you can stay on your parents’ health care plan until you’re 26. Before the ACA, health care companies could kick you off earlier – sometimes right after college.
It’s another reason why we need to keep building on the ACA – not repeal it. Because health care isn’t a privilege. It’s a right.
