Every morning Saint Francis de Sales recommends meditating on this:
God had no need for you, yet He made you
He made you out of nothing
He did not need you, and you do not add to Him
Yet out of nothing, He made you solely out of Love.
Consider also the times you’ve betrayed God, but specifically how He brought you back when you repented…
Likewise, you betrayed God, but He brought you back
He had no need to bring you back, but He did.
Solely out of His immense love for you, and you in particular
Remember that God loves you.
@Joeinblack Hi Fr. Joseph, I just started following you. While I'm not sure what's going on with this situation, Megatron is usually spot on when unveiling problems in the world. There are some evil groups operating, of course, and Megatron is usually exposing them. Good to meet you!
The #GospelOfTheDay (Mt 4:1-11) invites us to view Lent as a luminous path. Through prayer, fasting and almsgiving, we can renew our cooperation with the Lord, so He can craft our lives as unique masterpieces.
God desires us to assist in His saving work here on earth. In this #Advent season, let us prepare our hearts not only to recognize the ways that God comes to meet us, but also the ways in which He asks us to participate in His life. #JubileeAudience
Being a synodal Church means recognizing that truth is not possessed, but sought together, allowing ourselves to be guided by a restless heart in love with Love. https://t.co/GFVJUHPenO
The synodal journey calls all of us to listen more deeply to the Holy Spirit and to one another, so that our structures and ministries may be more agile, more transparent, and more responsive to the Gospel. #Synod
In hearing the cry of the poor, we are asked to enter into the heart of God, who is always concerned for the needs of his children, especially those in greatest need. #DilexiTe
Let us #PrayTogether that the leaders of nations may be free from the temptation to use wealth against humanity, turning it into weapons that destroy peoples and monopolies that demean workers. Whoever serves God becomes free from wealth, but whoever serves wealth remains its slave! Whoever seeks justice transforms wealth into the common good; whoever seeks domination transforms the common good into the prey of their own greed.
God reveals himself to those who are simple and humble of heart because they are open to receiving him. Their docility gives them great insight into the faith and enables them to follow the inspirations of the Holy Spirit. We too are invited to become childlike and to live our Christian faith authentically by humbly following the Lord’s inspirations. #JubileeAudience
🚨 @washingtonpost scoop:🚨
Trump’s team is circulating a 38-page “GREAT Trust” plan for Gaza. It envisions a U.S.-run trusteeship for 10 years, turning the Strip into a “Riviera of the Middle East.” The catch? It begins with the “voluntary” relocation of 2M Palestinians. Genocide packaged as real estate.
More than 100,000 emails in Ehud Barak’s (ex prime minister of Israel) email were leaked online and clearly show he was working closely with Epstein.
But I wanted to analyze all 100,000+ of them and see what we could find.
And we’re just getting started. More to come.
