🚨BREAKING: A federal jury awarded $12.69 million to a former Blue Cross Blue Shield employee who said she was fired for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine on religious grounds.

Lisa Domski, a Catholic woman who spent more than three decades with the company, argued that the vaccines conflicted with her beliefs due to their connection to fetal cell lines associated with abortion research. Despite working fully remotely as an IT specialist, her request for a religious exemption was denied and she was terminated in 2022.

The jury found that Blue Cross Blue Shield violated federal religious discrimination laws, with attorneys criticizing the company’s vaccine mandate as a rigid “one-size-fits-all” policy.

The ruling is now being viewed by opponents of vaccine mandates as a significant win for religious freedom and workplace accommodation rights.
