USA baseball needed the travel ball dad - he knows all the scenarios, has mapped them out extensively and told everyone who will listen (and those that will ignore him). He may be annoying, but he knows the tiebreaker rules, scenarios win or lose and who and when they will play next - in every scenario possible. He would have told DeRosa and every manager. Travel ball dads for the win!

With Brownsburg retiring Gordon Hayward's #20, his number becomes just the 67th jersey ever to be retired by an Indiana high school. Here's the entire list (Including Marion's Stretch Murphy who wore no number :) - https://t.co/cVAZ56yTLb @IBCA@IHSAA@gordonhayward@bhsdogs
I have no problem with independent physicians choosing not to take Medicaid or uninsured patients. They have overhead, staff to pay, and no obligation to operate at a loss. We don’t force private restaurants to feed anyone who walks in just because they’re hungry.
But when large hospital systems take hundreds of millions in taxpayer subsidies for “community benefit” and then turn around and refuse Medicaid patients, that’s not a market choice.
If you’re paid by the public to serve the public, you don’t get to cherry-pick the public.
