I first met Ryan during the second semester of his sophomore year, when he had his sights set on earning the Varsity starting job at LCC.

At the time, he was raw—but he was extremely committed to improving and fully trusted the process. He put in consistent work on his technique and form, and day by day, week by week, that work began to compound.

Through that dedication, Ryan developed into a Top 12 long snapper in the country with @TheChrisRubio

I couldn’t be more proud to see him commit to NAU on scholarship! He was recently named an Honorable Mention on the 2026 All-American list.

We continue to train together on a weekly basis as he prepares to compete for the starting position at @naufootball FUTURE IS BRIGHT!
