Min wage needs to account for absenteeism, theft, dishonesty, poor attitudes, tardiness, inefficiencies, poor language skills and training.

Once an honest hard working punctual understanding employee is identified then often higher wages.

As such min wage often already TOO HIGH!!

It’s also the cruelest social policy.

Who will get laid off if a restaurant of say 60 staff lays off 6 due to automation or shorter opening hours? The smartest people? Or the most marginal ?

Result: more homelessness and unemployment of the least employable !! #abpoli
