heres a fun fact, i actually trained Jordan Burroughs in striking for a bit in 2023. incredible athlete, and he definitely would have done well if he chose to transition to mma.

"I really considered it, like heavily considered it.

One of the hardest parts about growing older, Ariel, is that you have to let dreams die. There are certain things that, when you're young and when you're hungry... you believe you can do it all... As you get older, you start to realize that, man, this may have passed for me.

Being a Christian... I thought that transition would be more about what I could get and who I could become, and I just don't think it would have been good for my faith, for my family, or for my marriage.
