Dear Hershey Girl, you were one of the best things that happened to me. Thank you for being my best friend for 14 yrs. I will never forget you and all the good times we had together. I love you so much puppy girl 🐾 I know you will always be with me
@kkfla737 I see this type of stuff all the time and I really think you are reading into it to much because of the messenger. I would way rather see something like this than the old school “who cares it’s soccer” lazy takes.
@DarylMoreysDad@kkfla737 A problem competing financially with the American teams. From what it sounds like they just have a stadium issue with BC Place/and also can’t find a local owner. Now if those are tied to financial issues that I don’t know
@DarylMoreysDad@kkfla737 I think we are on two different pages lol. The point I was making is there is a segment of people who say the Canadian teams need to be out of MLS and no other domestic league works like this, when clearly that’s not true. And also both Toronto and Whitecaps never seem to have
@DarylMoreysDad@kkfla737 lol I am wrong? When did I ever say anything about currency? The discussion was simply about clubs from another country competing in a different domestic league.
@DarylMoreysDad@kkfla737 Yes the Welsh clubs. Also there are New Zealand clubs that play in Australias league, AS Monaco an example from France, I know there are some Swiss teams as well, thats off the top of my head.
@rwbyrnes49@kkfla737 I would assume it’s because, similar to the US, most casual fans view those leagues as “minor league” for lack of a better word. And as much as people want to bag on “casual” fans, they are the majority of fans for teams.
@kkfla737 I do hope there is a way to get the CPL going, because it would improve Champions League a ton and make it so much more entertaining, than what it is right now just waiting until MLS vs Liga MX matchups.
@kkfla737 Championship level. And as much as romantics want to say support grass roots, that doesn’t work for the average fan, which makes up 90 percent of fan bases globally.
@kkfla737 I mean I wouldn’t be opposed to it, though I’m not from Canada. But I would assume what you said is the reason most Canadian fans would be totally against losing the mls teams. Their soccer development, economics, etc would take a massive hit. I’m not sure the CPL is even on USL
@martindelp@Eyesandvibes For the most part yes, though over the last 5 or so years it’s been much more competitive. MLS middle and bottom tier teams are much better than Liga MX, but the top Liga MX teams are still a clear step above the top MLS teams.
@Eyesandvibes MLS teams have been consistently winning against Liga MX teams on US soil for awhile now?? Literally this year MLS teams are 3-1-1 against Liga MX teams at home outscoring them 13-2 in those games
@ZeroCool138 With them having a fighting (hypothetically, truthfully I don’t believe they do) chance in the second leg, no, but after they lose against Austin and then get knocked out of Champions Cup I could see it happening
@ZeroCool138 I am looking at this as Vanney is already out soon and for the rest of the year. When half of the spine of your team is USL Championship level, I don’t think there is a coach who can do much with this team.
@ZeroCool138 I’m in agreement with you about Vanney, but I don’t think a new coach fixes this at all. This team has been very poorly constructed being so dependent on one player who hasn’t been available for now two years. I just can’t get past how poor the central midfield is
@GalaxyPodcast The spine is the most important part of your team. The midfield in the spine is so bad, not just in this game but all season. So frustrating to watch
