everybody likes to clown JR Smith for forgetting the time & score in such a pivotal moment, which is understandable. but I always found it crazy how the whole world trashed JR as if that moment made the Cavs lose… when it was really George Hill. 80% FT shooter going 1/2 on game winning FTs. could literally see it in his eyes before the 2nd attempt that he was cooked. HE’S the one who truly sold what should’ve been LeBron’s greatest game ever, not JR.
You all gotta learn to raise your voice. At the very begging of my Backrooms showing someone turned their flashlight on and it hit My face and I very loudly just said “turn the light off.” Whole movie it was silence. From everyone. Set the tone.
While on that, I am a firm believer that some professions should leave no room for mediocrity. Like, competence is not enough. You need to be exceptional.
this reporting is so dangerous because when he inevitably DOESN'T take the minimum, because he's worth, at worst, something in the 20-30 mil range, fans will be upset with him for not meeting paycut expectations that were never realistic to begin with
Shrinkflation pisses me off so bad because not only are you ripping me off but you're gaslighting me. I go talking about how there's less crackers in each sleeve and people treat me like I'm crazy. What's actually crazy is what we're putting up with from these corpos.
