@MikeMoody334@views09_ It is about Jesus, just because it isn’t in the bible doesn’t mean we don’t want to celebrate it. I just don’t understand, we want to gather and celebrate the resurrection. It’s the greatest news ever, why would we not want to celebrate it.
@MikeMoody334@views09_ We don’t worship the resurrection, we worship him, while remembering the resurrection. Easter is also a great thing to bring people to God. In my country, everyone celebrates Easter, Christian or not, so it can be a brilliant time to tell people that He is the reason for it.
@MikeMoody334@views09_ I gather and worship him like he told us, expect on Easter and Good Friday we specifically look at his death and resurrection and celebrate it. As well as looking at everything he does, we use that day to specifically worship his resurrection
@MikeMoody334@views09_ So it’s not ok for Christians to celebrate Jesus’ life? I think you may just be the only Christian not to Michael. Yes it doesn’t give a date, however it’s about celebrating the life of Christ and what he has and continues to do for us.
@MikeMoody334@views09_ “After three days I will rise again” Jesus rose on the sabbath, so hence he would have died on the Friday. Good Friday is just the name we give the great day because it is when sin was defeated forever 🙏
