We are closing this year’s Wednesdays with the Masters with one of the finest educators I’ve had the privilege to work with: Morton Kern, MD!
He may be stepping away from the cath lab, but he is not stepping away from educating fellows!

Four ACC Mix ’n Mingle programs! Four packed rooms! One big takeaway: people are hungry for connection, mentorship, and community.
From WIC to FIT to Residents/Medical Students to Critical Care Cardiology, the energy was incredible! My favorite part is always seeing someone meet the mentor they have been hoping to connect with, and that smile that comes with it.
That is what this is about!
Thanks to all the mentors for these fantastic programs!
I ♥️ my job!!!!

This is a conversation I am so excited about.
The juggling act, the struggle, balancing career, life, family, selfcare, responsbilities...
It's all so real, for all of us.

There is no one alive who is you-er than you! Yesterday is today's memory, and tomorrow is today's dream. What you do today can improve all your tomorrows. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.
Happy New Year everyone!

The Women in Cardiology gathering at the Mission Inn was nothing short of inspiring.
It was such a beautiful event that fostered connections, shared stories, and sparked bold conversations. We were joined by 50 residents, students, and fellows, along with at least five medical students who, before leaving, shared their newfound determination to pursue cardiology. To hear that was the true mark of a mission accomplished.
A huge thank you to the incredible panelists who offered their expertise, and to cardiology WIC friends from LA who fought through traffic to be part of this special day. Your support means the world!
A special shout-out to, @JanetWeiMD the @CaliforniaACC president, and @LiannaSC the CEO, and our industry partner for making this gathering a reality. Their vision and commitment helped bring this event to life, and we couldn’t have done it without them. What a remarkable and successful gathering!
