11 Promises from a Manager: a 🧵

1. We’ll have a weekly 1:1. I’ll never cancel this meeting, but you can cancel it whenever you like. It’s your time.

One small crack does not mean that you are broken, it means that you were put to the test and you didn’t fall apart.

#WordIfTheDay: epicaricacy! I am not the gloating kind but there’s a special pleasure in reading these comments today... When everything else has been said, what remains but “wow”?! #IndvsAus

Rahane took a team that had been drubbed in the First Test, lost its captain & best bat, had a star paceman injured, &were considered no-hopers. He moulded them to bring the best out of themselves,& made winners out of them w'out ever raising his voice or flaunting his authority.

I am reading a lot of tweets saying that Pujara is so good that the opposition has to bowl absolute top-class deliveries to get him out. Perhaps, but I will listen to such arguments with more sympathy if Pujara moves up this list a little. Until then, OUT means OUT.

His Grace the Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan was a remarkable personality who served humanity and worked hard to improve the lives the poor and downtrodden. He was blessed with abundance of empathy and humility. His noble ideals will always be remembered. RIP.

@EliasVisontay Great article Elias. Sharing a video interview here of someone’s experience trying to return home to her family. Whilst the spread has been contained in Oz, the govt must realise strict lockdowns is not the answer.

@justmefeeb Yes this is just one example of the someone sharing her experience of how difficult it is to get home to family. Watch this video.

@GallRilbra02 @SBSPunjabi Those that were visiting certain countries (e.g. India) got stuck because the Government closed down the whole country with just 4 hours notice. Those that had flights booked to return had their flights to Australia cancelled or reduced after Scomo enforced the lockdowns.

[Ryan Jacob @RyanJac15582229]

@EwanJacob3 @ScottMorrisonMP Very heartful message. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully the government hears your plea. I haven’t seen my mum in months too
