Good coach that should be backed with the reality being he needs a few years. Desperately need to target exiles and better athletes just too many players with no real quality. Lacking in speed, strength and skill.
Positive side there’s some good youngsters coming through
@rugbyontnt Signs of improvement no doubt but Lynn can only coach what he has available- some exciting youngsters coming through but the squad lacks athletes and skill.
Just goes to show how starved that English back row has been of some flare players over the last few years when comments like this start appearing. The kids quality but he’s not fit to lace the boots of Tips or Faletau and that’s before a deep dive of other nations.
Unless you are trying to be talksport, then this is absolutely absurd given the quality of back rowers that have played the game in recent times.
In particular a generational talent, who wore a certain blue scrum cap, here's what he looks like, you might remember him...
Three years ago this week, we battled Maidenhead United to a draw. Today we pushed Chelsea to extra time. So incredibly proud of Wrexham’s performance today
First and foremost, I want to thank Eddie and the entire team at Matchroom for everything they’ve done for me over the past decade.
From guiding me when I first turned pro, to headlining stadium shows. They were not only with me for those highlight moments but stood shoulder to shoulder with
me during the tough times.
It’s been a journey beyond anything we could have imagined, and for their belief, support, and guidance, I will always be truly grateful, but Zuffa Boxing presented me with an opportunity I simply couldn’t refuse. I’d love Eddie to
continue to be part of my team and for our partnership to evolve in this new chapter.
I’m filled with excitement and hunger for what’s ahead with Zuffa Boxing. I want the legacy fights, the biggest nights, the biggest stages. I fear no man at any weight, and I’m ready to give the fans the fights they’ve been calling for. I’m in my prime, and together we have bold, ambitious plans
Adam Beard is the most un-athletic rugby player I’ve ever seen 🙈
He doesn’t get in any other tier one nations team….if he wasn’t 6’8 he would be nowhere near test rugby.
Just shows how poor the options at lock are right now 🙈
@BrendanOMalley3 You’d have your main two then their understudies so to speak picking up the slack during internationals. You could argue three but that’s absolute maximum.
If only they had the balls to scrap all four teams and start fresh with two new unaffiliated ones with no dead wood just those worthy of playing test rugby 👀👀👀😂🎣🎣🎣 ….in a British and Irish league
@BrendanOMalley3 They’ve never all been up and producing like they should that’s the issue. There most definitely has been a lack of planning haha!
I disagree, you’re cutting the dead wood and increasing the standard across the board.
@BrendanOMalley3 They don’t have the funding for four teams or the player base currently. The so called ‘professional’ standard at the regions is very poor. We’ve go players in our best 15/22 that wouldn’t get in other tier 1 nations A teams haha
@BrendanOMalley3 Stop sayin we because you don’t speak for everyone Brenda 😂😂 there’s interest!
No naming rights involving location names hahaha - tbf you can’t avoid the stadium issues you have to have a team in the capital and the only other viable stadium issues the scarlets
