@neilbowers@JohnLewisRetail Surely it’s better for John Lewis if it never expires due to inflation.
Think about it. You want to buy the thing. You have a gift voucher which makes you think that you absolutely have to buy the thing from John Lewis.
The voucher is worth less now than it was when you got it.
Tomorrow is the big day:
On April 1st 2026 we lost our great mate - Will Brazier. Will was diagnosed with Oesophageal cancer in May 2025 and fought against all the odds to battle the disease. In September 2025, Will went to Southampton to undergo surgery to remove the cancer. The surgery was intense and some complications arose meaning he spent several days under sedation, however he remained strong and despite the odds he made it through and was able to come home.
In November a scan confirmed that the cancer was not present and Will started to return to normal life. However in January 2026, after becoming ill, Will had further tests and he was told that he had spinal metastases. Over the next few months, Will battled every single day, fighting for his family and always in good spirits. However on April 1st 2026, Will lost his battle and fell asleep at the Dougie Mac surrounded by his closest family and friends. Will had such a massive positive impact on everybody who came in contact with him. Family, friends and work colleagues miss him every single day.
On October 4th 2026 we have decided to run the Potters ‘Arf’ in memory of Will and to raise money for the Dougie Mac, a place that were amazing to Will and his family in his final few months.
We have had such a great response to people wanting to run it in memory of Will with so many people who haven’t run before and who hate running. There won’t be no amount of pain that any of us go through in training and the race that Will went through. Any donations will be much appreciated and give us that extra motivation to get this done.
Thank you from all of us running the Potters ‘Arf’

T1 Diabetes management using @bot.
All connected to @NotionHQ.
1. supply manager: knows my daughters supplies and holds an inventory in notion. Each week it asks what we used and then updates the ledger. It orders supplies online or drafts and sends a prescription email when it knows something is low on stock or is about to expire.
2. Analyst: I feed it @myomnipod settings and last months @dexcom data and it makes recommendations to improve time in range.
3. Chef: it knows our meals. I tell it what we are planning on eating and it tells me which meals are likely to spike blood glucose and how I can adapt the meal to potentially reduce the spike.
Literally living in the future 🫡
@dadbegg “It’s not your verge” comments are missing the point. It’s good rage bait though 🫡
It’s about taking pride in where you live.
I would be pissed too.
But tbf a couple bags of topsoil and a bit of seed will sort it.
I worry about the size of the conversation in @bot and tend to use @grok or Claude chat.
I can’t get my head around how one bit can deal with the context ai down problem.
In chat I just ask for a summary .md and paste it into a new chat. In bot am I supposed to create a new agent?
Imagine when you start getting dodgey phone calls where they use @ElevenLabs voice.
Usually you hear “hello, I have a job off…” – I hang up immediately.
