@ArbitrageOps In my mind every business takes risk and has loss. When I was doing this more regularly, if something didn't sell or didn't meet my expectations I took a loss and took notes for next time. Completely agree with your point above. Your building relationships and a track record.
I asked two of my non-tech friends “if money wasn’t an object, what would you do with your life?”
They both said “not work and travel.”
So I asked “what about for work?”
To which they replied, “if money wasn’t an object why would we work?”
And that is how I realized that being a serial entrepreneur is, in fact, a mental illness :)
If you're running a business, some days you will feel like..
- Everything Sucks
- The Path Isn't Clear
- You Want to Burn it Down
- Overwhelmed
That's normal. Twitter & Instagram make it look like it's not. It IS.
Just show up another day. 👊
@realEstateTrent 75. I worked jobs I hated for years... It made me a miserable person in my home, my relationships etc and left me with less ability to handle stress in my side projects
