I'm sad to report that former Cardinals infielder Ron Hunt has died at the age of 85 in St Louis, MO.

Hunt was born in St Louis and attended Ritenour High School.

He would only play 12 games with his hometown team in 1974 before retiring.

Hunt is 6th all-time in being hit by a pitch (243 times)

He also holds the modern day record for most times hit by a pitch in a season (50) in 1971.
