I may be dating myself here but does anyone remember those “History Will Be Made” Playoff Commercials? Well I thought I’d try and make a modern day one. I think it turned out pretty well.
Nobody put more blood sweat in tears into wearing the jersey in my lifetime than Gallagher. I hope he knows how beloved he truly is in this city.
I don’t know what his post playing career plans are but it wouldn’t shock me if his time with Canadiens isn’t over, just on hold.
Definitely not the end to the season we wanted but it was a really fun year nonetheless. Can’t wait for the next one.
Thanks for a great year everyone.
So why do we even have reviews? Why are we creating the illusion of fairness? Why is there a penalty for getting it wrong if we’re going to take this approach?
Just an observation before the Stanley Cup final next week, I wouldn’t challenge any goal for goalie interference. The league doesn’t want to overturn goals. That’s the base sentiment. Evidence has to be so overwhelming. Why risk it. I don’t blame Martin St. Louis, it’s desperation time tonight for his team. More a comment for the Cup final.
Only ask of the Habs tonight, please make this one worth watching.
Dont have to win, but at least make this more fun than Wednesday.
A win would be nice too, but that might be asking too much. Just don’t go down without a fight.

Barring an unforeseen comeback, the Habs are going to fall to 2-6 at the Bell Centre this postseason.
That’s quite frankly ridiculous. Just nauseating.
Carolina is a really good team, but Marty is getting stuffed in a locker right now.
If he made any adjustments they are not noticeable. The Habs seem to be going down without much of a fight.
You can see all the hockey has taken its toll on the Canadiens. Not only have they played 17 games but they’ve gone to OT a fair share too.
That OT was an example of a team that just ran out of gas. Not feeling great about their chances to win 7 more games.
Losing is one thing, getting dominated in that manner is another. Habs didn't even sniff a chance at generating offense in either of Game 2 versus Tampa and tonight.
Getting the split on the road is good enough, but this is the second time you're one shot away from a 2-0 series lead and failed to register a shot on net. That's just down right inexcusable.
Still, you get a split, but it only means so much if you can't protect home ice.
Habs don’t win a single foot race, puck battle or make a good play with the puck.
Just completely outworked and sloppy. You got the split but yet another missed opportunity.
