@CBKReport Without him joining they’d be down to a 6 man rotation, and no big man… he was added out of need, and still barely plays… pretty sure the staff knew this was an uphill climb this season and just needed any help they could get and bodies to take minutes ..
@CRieches@DarthBaylor6158 1. It’s not again, he never played college basketball. 2. Just saying something you wish doesn’t make it the rule or right. I could say players should be able to play while they are getting masters and doctors degrees, they are still in college. Doesn’t mean that’s the rule 🏼♂️
@LOYAL_619@BaylorMBB Well he’s replacing a guy that got hurt and is out for the year so, I think that guy is fine and will still have his roster spot next season if he comes back 🤷🏼♂️
@Sloan15Jeff@LaTulip_Mike 🤦🏼♂️ duh I’m shifting the point to players then could not get paid and players now can. So that’s still “unfair” but it’s the rules now and it happens. This is the rules and where athletics is now just the same, fair or not to the guys before.
@Sloan15Jeff@LaTulip_Mike Lenny Cooke could have gone to college and would not have been paid for his time there… now players are, so same thing where something is now legal vs not, way back when. It just is what it is and where the world is going.
@Sloan15Jeff@LaTulip_Mike My guy… I get it… this isn’t a good example as we are basically in a whole different world since 2002… go to Capitol Hill & argue for this to be changed, I’m sure it will be anyway or it will stay open and we will just see an even higher increase in foreign players in college
@BrettSiegelNBA I mean … but he is … so 👀 seems like he has a right, and you should re-word to say I wish he didn’t have the right or I don’t like that he has the right and want the rule changed in the future
@DallasTX15023@BaylorMBB Brother … maybe… but tech threw a bag to get a roster & said “get your money up” “it’s legal”. And good for them, wish we could have and would have done the same. It’s the same thing here where a team was first taking advantage of the new rules. In 10 years it will be so common
@Sloan15Jeff@LaTulip_Mike But that’s not this kids fault the NCAA made that a rule. I hope they reverse that rule, but until then a kid from Africa never played in college or NBA has eligibility. Has nothing to do with kids born here and chose to go to college vs Spain.
@Sloan15Jeff@LaTulip_Mike Bc U.S is the only place that cares about college sports. Everywhere else these kids are signing contracts & being “pros” at like 10… I’m not arguing for or against anything necessarily but there’s obvious differences. I agree it’s dumb you have to forfeit remaining eligibility
@Sloan15Jeff@LaTulip_Mike As far as the US vs Int’l distinction, I think a US player could if he didn’t play college ball already. And again it hasn’t happened before bc before the int’l guy could get paid to stay in Europe. Now he can be paid and play in college 🤷🏼♂️
@LaTulip_Mike Peoples biggest issue is that their team didn’t know about the rule, and use it to get him or another good player. If this was their team they’d be excited too and saying hey shoulda been smarter and recruited better to convince a kid to leave Europe and come play for you
@wildfreakouts I mean there’s time & space to avoid the truck.. shouldn’t be going that fast in a clear tourist/hiking spot with cars pulled over & people out, plus in the second picture you can see the yellow sign for an even sharper turn coming up. Just slow down & have some common sense
@OsoMediaGroup Once everything went down with Mack this is where we were going to be. We’re not getting an AD in 1 week & asking them week 1 to find a HC to pull together a class by signing day. No options are good but acting like we could fire everyone & rehire everyone in 2 weeks is wild..
@Ricci1Jerome@PleaseBearW_Me I mean at least be factually correct when making statements.. ONLY time? He does twice, once in 2024… is that still Rhule recruits and pre Person Over Player?
