Just so there is no revisionist history here - EVERYBODY, and I do mean EVERYBODY, wanted the Bruins to take Hagens. So if he doesn’t work out, or if another player becomes a HOFer, we all wanted Hagens
Let’s never forget that Mike Babcock healthy scratched Mike Modano so that he didn’t reach 1,500 NHL games played, finishing at 1,499. No need for him back in the league
Over the last five years, more than half of the NHL's conference finals have ended in five games or fewer. None have gone seven games. Dark days for Gary's format
This finale had quite literally everything going against it and despite still being a little rough round some edges, it managed to close off the story in a really satisfying way and give these characters the endings they deserved.
Definitely a solid 8/10
🚨 NEW: Mary Peltola proposes bill establishing 12 year term limits for members of Congress.
"If you can’t get it done in that amount of time, go home!”
It's hard to describe exactly how I feel about this season so far. I thought the first 2 episodes were really good, but then every episode after those have just felt severely disjointed from each other. Almost like each episode had their own writers and directors who didn't interact or share ideas/thoughts with the creators of the other episodes.
I have been enjoying each episode individually for what they are. But in terms of acting as a cohesive way of wrapping up the series, it does not feel like much thought was put into this final season.
6 million for 6 years for a guy who’s almost 35, has only put up 60 points once, and has never hit 30 goals in a season?! Great player, HORRIBLE contract value for Columbus
the whole “nobody wants to work anymore” thing is funny…
nah, people just don’t want to:
- commute 2 hours every day
- miss their kids growing up
- trade their whole life just to pay rent
- get laid off out of nowhere
- work 50 hours and get paid for 35
fix the system, not the people.
