@kamikazecash The shares get sold in a covered call fund whenever the calls are itm, so no difference liquidating shares except someone else is doing it. If you are unable to psychologically sell shares for income despite the math saying that is optimum.... mb financial advisor makes sense.
@kamikazecash You cant budget off of covered call income :) I think a financial advisor would be well worth the fee to come up with an optimized withdrawal strategy for you.

@CarsonTalkMoney It is for investors that can't figure out how to get cash from their investments unless they have a high fee, low total return income ETF. They would be better off with a financial advisor to design a withdrawal plan.
