Or could it be that you didn’t have a loved one die during the Fauci Covid lie, like my mother Pilar in January 2021, and was told by the state of California that we could not have a funeral to honor our mother because Dr. Anthony Fauci said ‘the science said it wasn’t safe.’

Outdoors and against the tyranny of equal medical hypocrite, California’s Gavin Newsom, we had a funeral for my mother anyway. It was my middle finger to Newsom and Fauci and all the other medical lying miscreants like brainless

I am a former CNN employee (1997-2000) and am writing regarding the personal relationships between CNN anchors and Dr. Anthony Fauci that are documented in his released diaries.

Attached are screen grabs from those diaries showing relevant entries involving Jake Tapper, Dana Bash, and Wolf Blitzer.

Please respond to the following questions:

I request an on-the-record response.

Does CNN have any comment on the attached diary entries documenting private dinners between Dr. Fauci and Jake Tapper (described by Fauci as “friendship building”), as well as the longer pattern of social interactions with Wolf Blitzer that includes private events in 2010, 2014, and later?

In an April 2021 diary entry, Dana Bash texted Dr. Fauci after his hearing with Rep. Jim Jordan and wrote that “our friend Wolf Blitzer” had said no one would have blamed him for telling Jordan to “go f--- yourself.” Does CNN have a response to this characterization of the relationship?

Were CNN’s standards and practices or ethics teams aware of these personal relationships at the time they occurred, or after the diaries were publicly released? Was any internal review conducted?

Does CNN’s ethics policy require disclosure when anchors maintain close personal relationships with public officials they regularly cover? Were any disclosures made in these cases?

Has CNN examined whether these relationships affected the tone, framing, or scrutiny in its COVID-19 origins coverage and its interviews with Dr. Fauci, whom Blitzer described as a ’national treasure’ in a 2020 interview with Francis Collins?

Why has CNN not publicly addressed these diary revelations in the period since their release?

Will Jake Tapper, Dana Bash, or Wolf Blitzer make themselves available to answer questions about the attached diary entries and their interactions with Dr. Fauci?

What steps, if any, is CNN taking to address the appearance of compromised independence arising from these documented relationships?
