@TitanYoung21@jamfan40 Never said that. Most of the fans and the population of metro area is north and west of Chicago. It’s going to be about 2 1/2 hours, $8 for the skyway to watch the Bears play surrounded by factories and fucking oil refinery.
@liamiguess42@jamfan40 Nowhere near the stadium site. Meanwhile, the UP Northwest line has a train that’ll drop you off right in front of the doors at the Arlington racetrack site.
@dmillerabc7 The stadium could be fully built in Hammond, and Illinois politicians like @RepKamBuckner will still think that they could have “conversations” with the Bears
@Dzikhead The average price for a ticket is about $300. Sales tax in Illinois, Illinois at 6% multiply that by 65,000, then multiply that for how many games that are played. That’s just for tickets. That doesn’t include all the other events, concerts, etc. that would take place.
@jus10chi You believe the IL politicians? Serious question, you believe them? Because for the past few months, they were telling us they were “close to a deal” and “a deal will get done”
@CapitolNewsIL@brendenmoore13 Keep reporting what Illinois politicians are saying is true. That’s a huge reason for all of this is: they lie and you believe them and reported as true.
@FDSportsbook Indiana might be the right move for the Bears to cash grab for themselves but is not the right move for the fans
The plan in Arlington heights was to have a full “Bears District with bars, restaurants, hotels, shops all centralized near the stadium… they won’t get that in Indy
@CourtneyRCronin In good faith, lol. That’s why for years that the state of Illinois refused to do anything and openly admitted it even after Illinois failed this last legislative session. He still has the nerve to say that they’re working in good faith what delusion comes out of Springfield.
