Some places just feel like they’re meant to be.

After a lot of prayer, conversations, and time spent finding the right fit, I am incredibly excited to announce my commitment to the University of New Mexico!

This decision was about much more than softball. 

Long before most schools knew who I was, the coaching staff at New Mexico took the time to watch me, believe in me, and invest in building a relationship. 

The New Mexico Coaching Staff believed in me early, showed up to watch me compete wherever the tournament schedule took us, and made me feel valued as both a player and a person. That has never been forgotten.

As I looked at where I wanted to call home, everything kept pointing back to New Mexico. I was born in Grants, New Mexico. Both of my parents were born and raised in New Mexico, and my mom is a proud University of New Mexico graduate. Returning to the Land of Enchantment to wear the Cherry and Silver makes this opportunity even more meaningful for me and my family.

Thank you to my family for every mile traveled, every sacrifice made, and for believing in me through every step of this journey. Thank you to every coach, teammate, mentor, and friend who has challenged me, encouraged me, and helped shape me into the person I am today. I am incredibly grateful for each of you. A huge thank you as well to my heavenly father for helping me through these hardships and always leading me down the right path, as none of this would be possible without him.

Finally, Thank you to Coach Dickson, Coach Spearman and the entire New Mexico coaching staff, and everyone at the University of New Mexico for believing in me. I can’t wait to get to work and proudly represent the Lobo family.
