@tekagen_irande Still waiting on Hayate being playable in a Ninja Gaiden game. There may not be many guys in DOA, but the few there are pretty dang cool. Jan Lee especially
@sage981230@yumi8228 What?! That would've been awesome, Kumori is like the best new character introduced in a while. Do you know where I can find more on where Yasuda said this?
To truly honor his memory, we shouldn’t just talk nonsense 24/7.
The real nature of Ninja Gaiden has always been about pushing ourselves further and further, mastering every single element of the game through sheer discipline and practice.
@JFpaes15@Gazungamer Its what I like about Ninja Gaidens performance rating over other action games. The devs made the games hard, but they dont care if you die alot, as long as you get better at the game. Its why I dont like NG4s rating score becuz Platnium does rate u on ur deaths when it shouldn't
@JFpaes15@Gazungamer Yea the game doesnt actually punish you for dying. Its performance score is based on your technique with the combat. If you die in your playthroughs, it won't deduct points from you, because the game knows its hard and you'll die alot, it just wants you to play good. 1/2
@parendise@TeamNINJAStudio@DOATEC_OFFICIAL@deadoralivejp@koeitecmoeurope@oMASTERo And I cant remember where he said it, but Itagaki said something along the lines of, "I want Dead or Alive to be seen more as a genre of games then just a franchise". I bring that up because DOA was the fighting game, NG was the action game, Code C, was suppose to be the rpg,

Fighting games should be fun while having a balance space for both casual and competive.
You can't go fully casual and ignore balance, because players will always find exploits that ruins the fun.
You also can't go fully competitive, because an overly complex game risks alienating your casual audeince.
- Smash Bros. did this perfectly.
Create fun modes while giving players things to do besides sweating ranked matches all day. Because at its core, a fighting game will always be competitive. No one likes to lose, no matter how casual your game is.
You can't change the nature of the genre. There will always be a winner and a loser, but if you mask that emotion with fun, then all will be forgiven.
@SH0OLA@Magilligan5349@haalaphrodyke Yup, dmc and ninja gaiden are legit built on Fighting Game and beat em up arcade philosophy. Its no coincidence that Itsuno and Itagaki both worked on fighting games before doing action. Ninja Gaiden in particular is literally designed with the DOA triangle system style in mind
@ZakkuRye Yakumo def deserves to be in DOA7. DOA is literally built on a story about Ninjas, so theres nothing wrong with another ninja. As of matter of fact, I want Kumori from NG Ragebound in DOA too. I think Team Ninja sees Yakumo as being Platinum's character so theyre hesitant
