@Codie_Sanchez Consider chess or learning a math subject. Study an obscure topic like NT use of the OT and do a presentation challenge with friends every 6 months. I might do this.
@Codie_Sanchez Sounds like the "Brain Rot Epidemic" and some blaming screen time for lower cognitive performance of the younger generation than their parents, something not accomplished in recent generations.
ES like robots, need no code. MS like code, need no robot. But, robot works with code. ES create code. Will they still like robot? Find out next month.
These HS students want to know if their hw will be graded. This week, I tell them how hw is for them and not for me. It's a proposition that makes you feel like you are challenging an entire generation. Game on.
One middle school last week were given the choice between electrical engineering, (left out mechanical), computer science, data science, and something else. They chose coding. Once this HS gets a full time teacher, I wonder what they will choose.
A staff member defended me. I went from supporting select students to teaching whole classes without a full time teacher (deceased). "He's not reprimanding them, he's just excited." Amen.
eternal weight of glory produced by momentary, light afflictions. Any level of validation of the hardships should still lead us to conclude positive outcomes through the Lord Jesus. Endure to the end.
Paul said to not lose heart after sharing the afflictions and persecutions he and other Christians experienced (2 Corinthians 4). No hardship even reasonably justifies a lack of faith in God. The problems of evil, whether objective or subjective, do not compare to the surpassing
@MarcusLuther6 I was coaching a professor based on my CS class I teach. It required him to shift how he engages the student in light of their work and how he communicates to students about his intent. To can't teach as usual anymore.
Finished data science, engineering, and coding programs for the summer. Adding new schools this school year, including a homeschool. STEM and college prep. CA college tours already being planned with new locations/schools.
Summer progress: Data Science course done. Engineering pod done (3D printed models attached). Coding course in progress. Conferences and fairs on the way.
So far, summer has gone from data science at CSULB to engineering pod at USC. Today's session revealed great communication skills from students. Let's see how many standout presentations this class will have.
Have summer programs at some universities with other orgs. Debating on our own. @GladAcademics preparing for contracts with returning schools now. New schools and districts?
@adityarao310 Clients send purchase orders to vendors because they are ordering a service/product and promise to pay. After providing the deliverables, the vendor invoices the client based on those services/products provided. Clients order, vendors invoice, and then are paid.
