@implausibleblog 5) I strongly believe that the stronger countries should help asylum seekers where they can and the UK is a strong country. Unfortunately, we've been helping beyond our capacity for too long and people see that and look for drastic changes which reform are offering.
@implausibleblog 4) young people are suffering even more too since university costs over £9000 per year and that doesn't account for accommodation. Meanwhile, asylum seekers are getting free university.
@Keir_Starmer Aren't you offering free University to asylum seekers? Don't get me wrong, I understand asylum seekers need help, but free university for them when British students are going over £9k in debt every year (not including accommodation) is insane.
@TRobinsonNewEra Just to add a bit of information, only about 13-15% of Palestinians alive today would have voted in 2006 so about 7% of the population today voted for Hamas in 2006.
Take from that what you will, I'm just providing the statistics.
@RupertLowe10 Tbf, it's our history too considering it was Britain that they gained independence from.
My question is; are they planning to do this for every country that celebrates independence from us? Because that might cover a significant portion of the year...
@furbabygirl For the record, I don't agree that it's all people over 70. It should be based on a per person basis since age doesn't necessarily mean they aren't healthy.
@furbabygirl Ok, but 14% of full licence holders are over 70 so that 14% are accounting for 22% of accidents. They may drive in a safer manner but the deterioration of the main senses that occur with age is going to create safety concerns
@Jenny_1884 4) surely it's good to help people so they can afford to have children since so many people can't because of the money and time needed to afford children.
5) either way, children shouldn't suffer because of struggling or bad parents.
@Jenny_1884 1) I think less than £10 per year is completely reasonable to ensure children have breakfast.
2) a lot of the time, it's more about time than money (some people work before kids are in school)
3) the cost of living has shot up, can't blame people for financial struggles
@RupertLowe10 British children should obviously be protected but that doesn't mean Palestinian children shouldn't. Obviously in an ideal world, there wouldn't be a war but there is. Children shouldn't be injured or killed because of shit governments and that goes for all sides.
@EmilyDamari1@Keir_Starmer Oh please. Israel need to be stopped just as much as Hamas. Innocent people are suffering because of the war and Israel are making it much worse by committing war crimes and targeting civilian safehouses and hospitals. They even admitted to knowing Hamas wasn't at those locations
@realDonaldTrump The most surprising thing about this is that you didn't include a threat to impose tariffs on the Earthquake and tsunamis if they cause any more damage
@billybinion Dryers aren't built in but most people do have them if their is room in the house for them. Ice is easily accessible since you can ask for it in public or make it with tap water and a freezer at home. You typically call over the waiter if you need them.
