The Finnish Pavilion, a work by the architectural trio Lindgren, Gesellius, and Saarinen, was opened on April 15th at the 1900 World's Fair in Paris. Finland was granted the right to its own representation, even though at that time it was part of the Russian Empire, which had its own large pavilion at the exhibition.

Blasting and site work cause sediment pollution leading to brown water in nearby wells or surface sources, as seen near Meta’s Georgia facility

Chemically treated blowdown and thermal pollution can also affect downstream river s and lakes
