Steuer #42: Die Spielbankabgabe

1. Vorstellung
Sonderabgabe auf den Betrieb öffentlicher Spielbanken (Casinos). 20–80 % (meist 25–50 %) des Bruttospielertrags (Einsätze minus ausgezahlte Gewinne). Wird vom Casino-Betreiber an das Land gezahlt und treibt die Preise und Quoten für dich in die Höhe.

2. Woher?
Spielbankgesetze der Bundesländer + alte Reichsverordnung von 1938. Reine Ländersteuer.

3. Warum?
Offiziell: Regulierung des Glücksspiels und hohe Staatseinnahmen aus einem „riskanten“ Gewerbe.
In Wahrheit: Der Staat kassiert extrem kräftig mit, sobald jemand Glücksspiel anbietet – und lässt den Spieler die Zeche zahlen.

4. Gut / Schlecht
Schlecht: Macht legalen Casinos das Leben schwer und die Gewinnchancen schlechter. Extrem hohe Belastung im Vergleich zu anderen Branchen.
Gut: Nichts.

5. Finanzieller Nutzen vs. Verwaltung
Für die Länder: Rund 100 Mio. € pro Jahr – relativ einfache Einnahmequelle.
Für dich: Schlechtere Quoten und teureres Spielen.

Zusatz:
Du willst einfach nur Roulette oder Blackjack spielen? Der Staat greift zu – weil Glücksspiel ja „besonders gefährlich“ ist.
Klassiker: Der Staat lässt dich für dein Risiko immer doppelt zahlen. 💸🎰

When Anthony first came to us, he was in terrible pain and completely broken. Humans had clearly never been kind to him, and he was so scared he’d snap at anyone who came near.

But just look at him now! 🥹 He realised he’s safe, and now he can’t stop smiling. He’s thriving, surrounded by so many human and doggo friends. Watching him learn to trust again is the most beautiful thing. We are so proud of you, Anthony!

Little Steve was abandoned last week and he was very scared and defensive.

Lovely to see his character coming out properly now ❤️

For 6 months, this poor boy was stuck in a tiny cage. No room to run, no puppy time, nothing.

We thought getting him out was the hard part, but once we brought him back, we realized something was seriously wrong. His back legs are totally bent and weak, he basically has zero muscle from being trapped in such a small space for so long. He can barely walk.

Meet Timothée Chalamet 🐾

Instead of just finding him a home, Timothée needs some major rehab to fix his legs so he can actually run around and be a puppy again.❤️

I disagree about one thing, @NiallHarbison. You don't even have to be the person that your dog thinks you are. When you fail - and you will - they will forgive you.

Their forgiveness is endless.

We could all learn from that.

I just got a message from Mr Stormzy and he is coming to visit me on Saturday.

I’m so excited I might not be able to sleep.
