The CBN has a consumer complaint system.
If your bank refuses to reverse a failed transaction, ignores your complaint, or keeps deducting unauthorized charges, you can escalate it to the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Most Nigerians don’t know this exists. Most banks are counting on that.
First, report the issue to your bank. If they fail to resolve it within the allowed timeframe, escalate it to the CBN Consumer Protection Department.

Please oooo...
It can be a private note between two counterparties (mostly which are unregulated), it can be a special type of financing arrangement...
.... But it can never be T.bills.
The current yield on T-bills (for one year) is 18%-19% (in the secondary market, where it is easily purchased). At the last primary market auction, the yield was 19%.
The highest yield we have ever seen in the primary market is 28%. Some might have gotten a 30% yield in the secondary market (occasional opportunities to buy bills at a steep discount), but those times were periods of "very high interest-rate environment (in 2015-2019, and then in 2024-2025).
You are not getting anything close to 30%-40% right now, and I say this authoritatively.
A 500K stock portfolio
- 1 bank. I will go Zenith, 1000 shares = N125K. You can consider GTCO as well.
- 1 cement. I will go BUA, 500 shares = 200K.
- 1 oil & gas, or telecom.
Aradel, Seplat or MTN. I will go with MTN, 175K = 200 shares.
These choices is based on SAFETY + CAPITAL APPRECIATION + DIVIDENDS.
You can save this as a blueprint, not an investment advise from me.

AI didn’t remove people’s roles, but over-reliance on it is stripping away the human element we still need.
It’s an assistive tool, yet people keep handing it the wheel.
