Seems this is a major infrastructure issue, not just affecting Sky.
GiffGaff, TescoMobile and O2 themselves all got problems apparently - so can't lay the blame entirely with Sky.

@markwilsonit Good mate of mine did something similar, embedded his Oyster card chip into a replica Dr Who sonic screwdriver (complete with sound effects).
Got a fine from TfL for wilfully damaging their property but they admired his innovation and let him off..plus topped up his card 🤣

@markwilsonit Has the PIN length policy changed per chance? Had a situation recently where "security" upped it from 4 to 6 digits, took a fair few attempts and a lot of swearing before I read the requirements......

@chronicleflask I was taught that "enquire" (enquiry) is relaxed and polite with no expectation about an outcome, whereas "inquire" is very much more about detailed, in depth investigation - mostly formal - and seeks to find a definitive answer about the subject of an inquiry.

@markwilsonit The one that gets me is the "give way to cyclists if you are turning left and they are going straight on" at a [traffic light controlled] junction.
This will only ever work if cyclists play fair and don't constantly come up the inside of vehicles who are obviously turning left.

You might be surprised at how reasonable some paint jobs are. Most dealers sub the work out anyway, so cut the middle man (and see their greedy margins).

@markwilsonit Had similar recently. Normal delivery is management summary report with detailed technical appendix [of detailed discovery results/stats]. Client insisted on single document- which we challenged but did anyway- then complained that report was "too techie" ....
