This is really intersting, Lums having an annual fake shaadi, where two seniors are picked to get married, sounds so fun. this mock weeding of two handsome students just for fun is really interesting.
QAU students must learn from LUMS how to spread love instead of bigotry.
I’m sorry why and how did the lums fake shaadi start a nikkah discourse?? Please be fr touch some grass, get some comprehension skills. Joking about getting married doesn’t mean you’re actually married
Coincidentally, I was at LUMS the day the mock wedding was happening. The atmosphere on campus was so joyous. Took me right back to my PU days where antakshari on trips to Kallar Kahar & Rohtas Fort was the highlight of our lives. These kids seemed no different to me.
How dare LUMS students arrange and celebrate a fake wedding? Yeh hai humara culture?
Humara culture toh university mai lynching ka hai, fake blasphemy allegations laga kar marne ka hai.
An extremely controversial take and I may get hate for it but the reason why I never want to be associated with men who are shorter has nothing to do with their height but the fact they have so much internalized anger and insecurity that they project it over just about anyone
@unghinatspam A friend and I were talking about a tiki pack of biscuits. This guy thought we meant him and got offended. It's not my fault you think you resemble a tiki pack 😭😭😭
10th consecutive day of #GB_strike against land grabbing, electricity & wheat shortage, and imposition of taxes without adequate representation in parliament.
The media silence is alarming.

oh and when we talk about raising better boys it's not on mom alone, i know we love blaming women for the failings of boys/men, but it's heavyyyy on baba too, and SURPRISE but also the boy himself! A little self-reflection and assessment can take you mad far.
I love that our moral brigade didn’t find a full bodied Punjabi man, smoking up scorpion dust and keeping sex slaves chained to his bed, ‘socially and morally offensive’, but the word ‘trans’ puts their knickers in a twist. #ReleaseJoyland#letcinemabreath
There’s a paid smear campaign doing rounds against #Joyland, a film that made history for Pakistani cinema, got passed by all censor boards but now authorities are caving into pressure from some malicious people who have not even seen the film. #ReleaseJoyland@MoIB_Official
#ReleaseJoyland ! There is no reason not to. Be proud of the work that our artists create not afraid! Give your own people the respect they get in foreign lands. Support us, stand by us and we as Pakistani artists will make this country proud!
Joyland makes people uncomfortable because they only want trans/queer portrayal to be like the scene below. This scene literally has no relevance to the narrative of the film but the stereotypical character simply exists to be a cheap 10 second 'joke'

Not embracing diverse stories shows our fear to acknowledge our own reality that we are a diverse society where different beliefs, cultures, experiences and struggles exist. Art speaks to the audience, and we are too afraid to have a conversation. #ReleaseJoyland
