Constable Mvelo Gcabashe - attached to the SAPS POP Unit - was brutally murdered in Inanda in February 2025.

He was with his girlfriend at the time.

Gcabashe’s service pistol was taken by his attackers and they’ve been on the run since then.

Until now.

It all ended on the roadside, with their battered bodies lying beside a crumpled Hyundai.

The result of being on the wrong end of a gunfight.

BREAKING NEWS | Three murder suspects have been killed in a shootout with KZN police in KwaMashu. 

It’s believed they were wanted for the murder of a police officer last year. 

The DPCI Provincial Tracking Team, SAPS PMB K9, SAPS Provincial TRT, Durban Metro Police Special Operations Directorate and private security partners located the men while travelling in a Hyundai on the the M25.
