Hemel Hempstead have signalled the end of the Allinson era with this classy Sad Corner Flag that with blue sky and hazy entrails gives off vibes of summer evenings playing Headers and Volleys in the street until your mum called you in.
Top work 8/10 #COYT
Bristol City bring the Struber era at Ashton Gate to a swift halt with this scf that with horizontal symmetry and blocks of colour is reminscent of Josef Albers’ early work. Glorious green pitch and blue sky that denotes the new start. A triumph!

Not a sacked manager so a bit off piste, but can’t let this tweet from Dover about sacking of two guys who’d played in the ballsack league go. At sunset with floodlights resembling the Eye of Sauron, the effect is more angry corner flag. Remarkable! 8/10 #DAFC
Excellent effort to mark the end of the Crosby era at Tranmere. As floodlights bathe the pitch in lumens, the flag stands tall, a beacon of hope that says whilst time may pass and eons may change we will endure. Well played 9/10

Cracking effort here that brings to mind some of Yves Klein’s work as the Bartlett era comes to a close at Eastleigh. Superb flag in the foreground, stand in the background. Very pleasing all round. 0/10 though for using the same photo as last time.

Cracking effort here that brings to mind some of Yves Klein’s work as the Davis era comes to a close at Eastleigh. Superb flag in the foreground, stand in the background. Very pleasing all round. 8/10

Eastbourne Borough have brought the Widdrington era to a close with this sad corner flag that is reminiscent of Miró’s Maternity in a mad way. Sky is way too jolly for this to trouble the top end of the table, but overall a pleasant enough effect and a good effort. 7/10 #EBFC
Bit of a disappointing effort by Barrow to bring the Gallagher era to a close. The elements are all there, but this could have been a lot better - the lighting feels too jolly and the flag itself looks like a rugby sock on a stick. Must try harder. 4/10

The Caddis era is over at Hereford and the Bulls have marked it with this top class sad corner flag with stands in the background and dark, brooding clouds that immediately brings to mind work like Aivazovsky’s Black Sea. Superb effort, 9/10 #COYW | #OurCity
Wigan draw a line under the Lowe era with this sad corner flag that feels a little bit like when you pick your nan’s phone up and CHRIST GRANDMA, WHAT’S WITH THE MASSIVE FONT? Tidy effort nonetheless, rates a decent 7/10 #wafc
Admins everywhere. Step back and admire this perfect example of a sad corner flag from United. Stretford End in the background, moody sky, full club crest on the flag. Textbook. 👌

Decent effort from Morecambe as the Singh era comes to a clanging halt. The flag drooping listlessly under sad grey skies that mourn the fact they weren’t the best team in the land by Christmas. Solid. 6/10 #UTS
Shrewsbury have brought the Mickey Apples era to an end with this scf that will remind all of Peter Paul Rubens’ best work. The zoom effect here is a classic look, but it lacks the progressive themes of mood, background and effects of the modern scf game. 6/10

Fleetwood bring the Wild era to an end with this Sad Corner Flag that immediately reminds the viewer of Kapoor’s Mother as a Mountain. At first glance a decent effort, but the club crest is only half visible, and the flag itself is dirty. Mediocre. 5/10 #ftfc
