Starmer was moving like a dictator with the left in his party but he should've been moving like that with his Cabinet, and making them generate some new and radical ideas for this country. How can you be a gov in waiting for 15yrs and don't hit the streets like smack in the 80s??
Right wingers on here losing their shit about kids getting a piece of toast in the morning while being completely fine with Clarissa and John sitting on a huge private pension pot, a £2m house and demanding that their state pension increases above and beyond inflation 🤣
I don’t think people understand how revolutionary Planet Earth was when it came out. It’s arguably one of the most important British TV productions ever. Like I actually can’t think of one series more epic than Planet Earth.
The birth rate was higher when most people lived in council houses and when one wage was enough for a family.
Right wingers did away with all that, they can't now cry about the birth rate falling.
Nobody wants to bring a child into an insecure background
Modern films are obsessed with runtime. As if weight comes from length. The Lion King (1994) is lean, precise, and emotionally complete at 88 minutes. The 2019 remake nearly hits two hours and somehow says nothing more.
I hate how social media makes us forget that life has stages. It’s normal to be broke, to have broke friends or partners and yes it’s even normal to be unemployed at times. These are phases we all go through.
Some people are lucky enough to find good jobs at a young age and afford a certain lifestyle. Others take longer and that’s perfectly okay. We need to stop comparing ourselves and start accepting our journey. I just want all of us to be at peace with where we are in life while still working and striving for better.
