Latest figures show 376 recently arrived asylum seekers now without State provide accommodation. 500 male asylum seekers presented since 4 Dec - 58 were offered a place after ‘vulnerability triage’, 442 were not initially offered accommodation, 66 have since been offered a place

The rising number of asylum seekers without accommodation is a worrying trend. Asylum in itself is protection from harm/danger; it's therefore ironical for a country to 'welcome' people fleeing violence and persecution only to leave them out in the streets.

@dublinbusnews on 39a out of town (SG219) and driver hasn’t been stopping at stops and has stopped far from curb etc instead 50m before or after. Also didn’t take on any passengers on PrussiaSt even though there was plenty of space.

32 international protection applicants were not offered any accommodation when they presented to International Protection Office today, after Govt said it did not have enough accommodation for all new arrivals. Figures provided by DCEDIY to @rtenews as of cob today
