I get what you're saying, but I think it ran the other way. American companies had already sent customer service and IT jobs to India. Then Indian staffing firms like Tata, Infosys, and Wipro sent their own workers here on H-1B visas to sit with the American team, learn the job, and help move more of that work overseas. So if those visas get shut down, what actually happens next? Do the jobs stay here and go to Americans, or do the companies just move the rest of the work to India? #H1B #ProtectAmericanWorkers #H1BVisa
I am about to say something marginally political. Brace yourselves. 😎
I am a native Californian and a political independent. Here in California we have a Democrat governor, a Democrat super majority in the state legislature, and every major city has a Democrat mayor. And every election cycle every single poll reveals a majority of voters think the state is heading in the wrong direction. And yet we keep putting Democrats in office. California’s problems are all about policy. Period. You can’t blame “the other guy“ for the absolute horror that exists in our metro areas, or a budget that has collapsed due to the unrestrained funding of undocumented immigrants. It is the Dems fault and they need to own it. And perhaps we need to give someone else a shot at this. Just saying.
Nice. Now Apple can sell every part of your life to the highest bidder. Not your phone. The house. Who shows up, when you leave, when it's empty, what the cameras see. You won't spot the manipulation, and you won't escape it. You'll just watch life get worse while every penny you make gets squeezed out, until you beg the government to seize the means of production. Then the last free country turns into peasants serving an "elected" king and a court that never leaves. @markgurman@EFF #Apple
See, you can be funny when you skip politics. Press Your Luck works. What kills the show is the cold open, the same bash-every-Republican bit every week. Meanwhile the guy you’re mocking is out cutting investment deals and drug prices, and the other side’s record is still shut energy down, import cheap labor, and raise taxes on normal people.
@elonmusk Yeah, because boxes of blinking lights traveling the stars is gonna make life better for all of us, right? Transistors. On, off, on, off. It’ll definitely make SpaceX some money though. And of course that’s why you say these things.
It’s funny. The second she heard he told the president gas prices could go up, that was it. She found her weapon. Nuclear Iran, kicking the can down the road, none of that mattered. Just another stick to hit Trump with. And now they’ll say he went in against his advisors’ advice, like he’s some dictator who listens to no one.
🔴 WATCH LIVE: President Trump takes the stage in Alabama for DAY TWO of his midterm blitz
Love seeing all the young people there at his rally in Mobile.
Gen-Z conservatives HAVE to be motivated to get out and vote in November! https://t.co/LUWiV13oJU
@nbcsnl Curious what the cold open is this week. Hegseth again? Trump again? Or another reminder that America’s founding principles were the real mistake?
@RapidResponse47 The loophole is that the regulated party writes the standard, hires the referee, sits on the appeals board, and faces no penalty for a bad call. Everything else in the text is an implementation detail of that structure.
@CNN I love the double standard. Every time a Republican talks you treat him like he’s lying unless he’s going after the president. Then suddenly he’s “brave.” Every time a Democrat talks you nod along and never push back… unless they say something good about him. Then it’s a problem.

@MochiganMan@nbcsnl Jalen was actually funny and himself. The cold open is the writers doing their usual America-hating bit for the studio crowd. Two different things.
@jaketapper Gold Star families only get named when it helps the narrative. Abbey Gate families spent years begging CNN for coverage. Most never got a segment. They only exist when the story can be aimed at Trump.
@nbcsnl Same cold open as always. Mamdani gets the charm. What they won’t joke about is the bill. These policies don’t punish the rich. They make life more expensive for everyone else
@zerohedge He said it on @CNN. That’s not an interview. That’s a rollout. Then they’ll spend the next year calling it “affordability” instead of socialism.
