@comfortstarr @BullyCreative Libraries can serve different functions. Example, Arlington Hills Library in St Paul is part of SPPL system and a couple of blocks away, East Side Freedom Library, a community-based library that focuses on labor history, immigration history, and social movements.

@Quincetessence Yep, I've seen new ones established based on other common bonds. A lot of it is by younger (40s-50s year olds) that reject the organizational structures of the older family-based orgs.
