So important and interesting because so often stalking on board is not called out for what it is. Behaviours like repeatedly calling someone's cabin, waiting for them every night after a watch, keeping track of their movements, would quickly be classified as stalking on land.
We are delighted to announce that our #Bullying, #Stalking Awareness and Wellness event on 5th Feb is now fully booked. This overwhelming response highlights the importance of these conversations within our #MTU community.
Greetings from MtS Groveport Seafarers’ Cabin on a blustery morning. Cabin’s looking a bit more festive. Our thoughts and prayers for Seafarers out in this cold windy weather away from home🥶 Keep safe 🙏🏻🌊💙🚢🙏🏻🕊️
We have been offered funding for two places on a Climbing Out core programme next year, but the criteria is very specific.

🌊⚡⛈🚢🙅♀️SHOCKING ABUSES 🌊⚡⛈🚢🙅♀️
Shocking levels of abuse and harassment faced by female seafarers have emerged in new French research reported in the International Maritime Health journal which has revealed 'alarming' levels of physical and verbal aggression and sexual harassment of women seafarers. The report on the findings calls for the industry to give improved information on procedures for reporting problems.
@trinityhouse_uk Thank you for sharing. As compensation for our participants' time, they will have the option to enter a draw to receive £100 of Amazon UK vouchers.
