@DerekGriffin86 I guess I wasn’t sure of your original point in your original post? Like I think “Zone 2” high volume should be the focus (and celebrated the most). For more advanced runners Long Runs that push segments of Zone 3-4 at times are also essential of course (as well as Economy/speed)
@tim_roozendaal I’d look into not just getting more glute med strength but possibly also lower abs/obliques and “all around core strength ” too. Too much torque going on there it appears . Stride rate at 170 is borderline “slow” imo if that’s at sub 6-min per mile pace and he’s under 6’ tall.
🏃 Cheree Zunich is a mom of four, a nurse, and a two-time stroke survivor. Her stroke happened in front of her kids. She calls it the scariest day of her life — and her family's.
This November she's running 26.2 miles for Team Stop the Clot® in NYC.
"Running is a reminder that I'm strong and capable of overcoming any life challenge."

Got blocked by an American MD peddling TRT & peptides & more.
No idea who he is or if I ever replied to any of his posts, but I have clearly rattled his tribe & brand 🤣🤣
FYI, here’s a 65 year old who doesn’t touch any of that sh*t 👇🏼
@stevemagness This always blows my mind. Like, how does one not realize a 4-min Mile is 15mph (sustained for 1-mile!)?! Like it’s really simple math and physics here that doesn’t require a calculator. Or if they ever went to a track and tried to run a sub 60-sec lap or a sub 15-sec for 100m?
@shawthing12 If one gets sick being rich and having money is probably the biggest advantage imo. It’s why wealth correlates massively with longevity. Better access to the best quality healthcare. That being said there is only so much technology and the best doctors can do for certain ailments
I’m not sure why the Bryan Johnson case (his stomach autoimmune disease) is a surprise? I mean if anything it shows how powerful genetics and DNA are. They trump a lot. You can literally do everything “healthy” in life & still get cancer or have some major health issue imo
A must-have essential piece of gear as an outdoor content creator 🎥 that I've really enjoyed to get those beautiful film shots! 🏔️🙌 It even films in 8km video! Check out the @HOVERAir_Global self flying camera: https://t.co/J7MGtImrKM
@Alex85841 yes well maybe kinda, "almost everything" is a gray subjective term in science though so we do look to epigenetics still to try to optimize our relative chances in health
@TheSpoiler13 There is a very good chance I got a pulmonary embolism from the Covid vax…(or real covid). But most people who get blood clots or cancer can get it from many other variables in life (genetics). Kids get cancer. People eat poor diets & don’t exercise enough &have health issues
@MichaelTontchev Well yes, the ol “nature vs nurture ” mix….We can basically never completely separate pure genetics from epigenetics? Too many variables over the decades and this is an “n=1” story…so that’s not even good science imo
@schoopydobloop A lot of people who eat meat and don’t take very many supplements are also not very healthy….is the average American “healthy”? There is nothing special in meat. Sure, you could make an argument that most Americans probably could use some sun for more vitamin D synthesis though
@MichaelTontchev I mean to be fair even if he started at a super young age (obviously unethical as a kid) the outcome could have been the same? Kids get cancer. Sure we have epigenetics & w/ that diet, environment, lifestyle, exercise & wealth generally can go a pretty long way…but it’s not 100%
